The MDCAT (Medical and Dental College Admission Test) is the mandatory national medical entrance test in Pakistan for admission to MBBS and BDS programs. MDCAT 2026 is conducted by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC), the regulatory body formerly known as the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC). For the 2026 session, online registration opens on 22 June 2026 through the official portal mdcat.pmdc.pk, and the MDCAT 2026 exam will be held on Sunday, 16 August 2026. The test is based on the PMDC Uniform Curriculum (FSc Pre-Medical level) and consists of 180 MCQs from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English and Logical Reasoning, with no negative marking. Your final merit for MBBS/BDS admission is calculated using the aggregate formula: 10% Matric (SSC) + 40% FSc (HSSC) + 50% MDCAT.
