MDCAT 2026 Aggregate Calculator: MBBS/BDS Merit
Your MDCAT 2026 aggregate decides whether you get into a medical or dental college. The PMDC merit formula combines three scores: 10% Matric + 40% FSc + 50% MDCAT. Because the MDCAT carries the highest weight (50%), it is the single biggest factor in your final merit. Use the free MDCAT aggregate calculator below to estimate your MBBS/BDS aggregate percentage in seconds.
The PMDC aggregate formula explained
| Component | Weight | How it’s used |
|---|---|---|
| Matric / SSC | 10% | (Matric % × 0.10) |
| FSc / HSSC | 40% | (FSc % × 0.40) |
| MDCAT (out of 180) | 50% | (MDCAT % × 0.50) |
Aggregate % = (Matric% × 0.10) + (FSc% × 0.40) + (MDCAT% × 0.50). This 10/40/50 formula is applied uniformly across Punjab, Sindh, KPK, Balochistan and federal admissions for MBBS/BDS.
Worked example
Suppose Matric 1050/1100 (95.45%), FSc 980/1100 (89.09%) and MDCAT 165/180 (91.67%):
- Matric: 95.45 × 0.10 = 9.55
- FSc: 89.09 × 0.40 = 35.64
- MDCAT: 91.67 × 0.50 = 45.83
- Aggregate = 91.02%
What aggregate do you need for MBBS / BDS?
Merit changes every year by province and college, but as a guide:
- Public-sector MBBS: closes between 86% and 92% aggregate.
- Public-sector BDS: usually a few points lower than MBBS.
- Top colleges (e.g. KEMU, DUHS, KMC): often above 90%.
Why your MDCAT score matters most
Because the MDCAT is weighted at 50% (out of 180), every MDCAT mark has about 5× the impact of an FSc mark on your aggregate. That’s why even strong FSc students must take the MDCAT seriously, it is the deciding component of your merit.
