The National MDCAT 2026 is a 180-MCQ test covering five subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English and Logical Reasoning, based on the FSc Pre-Medical level. Subject-wise syllabus overview
Biology (45%: most important)
The largest section. Key areas include biological molecules, enzymes, cell structure & function, bioenergetics, the variety of life, kingdoms, transport, coordination & control, reproduction, evolution, and human physiology systems. Give Biology roughly 45% of your study time.
Chemistry (25%)
Covers atomic structure, chemical bonding, gases, liquids & solids, chemical equilibrium, reaction kinetics, thermochemistry, electrochemistry, and key topics from organic chemistry (hydrocarbons, functional groups) and basic biochemistry.
Physics (20%)
Includes force & motion, work & energy, rotational & circular motion, waves, thermodynamics, electrostatics, current electricity, electromagnetism, and modern physics fundamentals.
English (5%)
Tests grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, tenses, prepositions, and comprehension. High-yield and easy to score, master it with short daily practice.
Logical Reasoning (5%)
Covers logical problems, critical thinking, sequences, analogies, and basic reasoning. Like English, it can be mastered with consistent short practice.
